A gesture toward the outside

The inhabitants of the multi-ethnic district of Milan Turro-Gorla were invited to participate in the work showing gestures, movements and expressions typical of their culture, age, personality.
The House of Islamic Culture, The Ambrosiano Solidarity Center, Ligera the space of Via Padova and the Liceo IIS J.C. Maxwell were the main survey sites for work, places where the gesture was revealed in all its forms: embarrassment to spontaneity, enthusiasm distrust. The work becomes the window of City Art in a mixture of different choreographic gestures.
The work captures in full the objectives of call, prosthesis to generate a symbolic possibilities of inclusion and stop in via Dolomiti, identifying features and characteristics of the neighborhood, and weave a link between the interior and exterior of City Art through its "skin", showcase. From exploration of movement in dance, in the theater and in the visual and digital arts, Silvello leads to a fun and curious analyzes of different gestures with which every culture is the bearer.
Denis Silvello (1986, Milano) forms in the field of performing and digital arts at the Academy of Fine Arts of Brera, specializing in the MA Degree in Therapeutic Artistic. She studied contemporary dance, martial arts and yoga. Combining studies on the movement techniques and expressive dance, those on social and educational quality art. Participates in May 2015 alla Instant Performance Meeting the Odyssey: European theater project on the theme "Odyssey", with the participation of Scarlattine Theatre and Teatro delle Moire; regia di Tatiana PriyatkinaWeinstein, Skorohod Platform of the St. Petersburg-Russia. participates in April 2013 the collective exhibition Cromatologie at the Polo F.I.A.T. Mirafiori Motor Village Torino, with the digital performance Another Dè: digital dance performance that explores the expressive potential of the chromatic movement within the digital environment. Participates in December 2012 the collective exhibition Cittamorfosi at the space City Art Gallery, Milano: artistic research aimed at the production of artistic events and performative contexts in urban transformation of the city of Milan. Performer and choreographer for the multimedia show Transfer staged at the stage space and the Theatre Off Pim Jenco Viareggio in May 2011, with the collective Monastery: interactive work- performative able to analyze the expressive potential of the interaction actor-digital stage space in dramaturgical contexts- theater.
